Jess Lawson, our After Care Manager was invited to attend the fabulous and inspiring "Actually, She Can!" event by our partners, Seddons held on Thursday 27th February at The Heath Business and Technical Park, Runcorn.
The event, which was sponsored by Suttons and HaltonHousing was was an inspiring day dedicated to personal growth and professional development for women in the workplace. A series of workshops, keynote speakers, and networking opportunities were designed to inspire and equip women with the skills to achieve their goals.
Jess Lawson, a graduates of Thrive, our own personal development programme, attended the event and left feeling motivated and ready to take on new challenges in her own professional journey.
Jess, who is pictured with the Seddons team said:

It was empowering to hear from successful women and to share our experiences. The stories shared were not only uplifting but also a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we support and believe in each other."
All proceeds from the event go to the Halton Foundation and will be used to create bursary opportunities for young people in Halton, for whom there may be one too many hurdles for them to overcome into higher education or apprenticeships. As we approach International Women's Day on March 8th, we are looking forward to celebrating our fabulous women once again. We are excited to recognise their achievements and continue supporting their growth and success.
